Al-Ḍuḥā (Arabic: الضحى, "The Morning Hours", "Morning Bright", "The Early Hours") is the ninety-third chapter (surah) of the Qur'an, with 11 āyat or verses. Qur'an 93 takes its name from Arabic its opening word, al-ḍuḥā, "the morning".

It is a conversation between the servant and the Creator, allowing individuals to communicate with their Lord and seek His guidance, mercy, and blessings. Opening of Salah: Surah Al-Fatiha is recited at the beginning of every unit of Salah, serving as an opening supplication and marking the initiation of the prayer.

Surah Adh-Dhuha serves as a source of comfort and encouragement for Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during a period of revelation pause. The surah reassures the Prophet of Allah's continuous favor, mercy, and support, urging him to remain patient and grateful.

Surah Adh-Dhuha - سورة الضحى Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)?
